Yesterday (Oct. 4, 2016), Demi Lovato’s interview with Glamour hit the internet, and in it, she had some less-than-nice things to say about Taylor Swift.

While Lovato’s general dislike of Swift is nothing new, the singer made it clear she not only has an issue with Swift but also with Swift’s entire “squad.”  “I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body,” Lovato said. “It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it’s not real.”

It didn’t take long for Lovato’s shady comments to make their way to Swift, and now sources close to the “Bad Blood” singer are revealing how Swift really feels about the shady comments. “Taylor has a tight group of women in her life that all have her and each others’ back and sometimes people just want that. She thought it was unnecessary for her to make those comments. They both have never been really good friends,” a source told E!.

While Swift doesn’t seem too concerned with Lovato’s comments, Lovato has gotten a lot of backlash for body shaming Swift’s squad. She’s gotten so much backlash, in fact, the singer took to Twitter soon after the comments hit the internet to announce she’d be taking a break from music and Hollywood next year, revealing she feels she’s more suited to doing charity work.
