Almost two months after allegedly committing one of the most gruesome killings of the year, Austin Harrouff has finally woken up… and is headed straight for jail!

On Monday, the 19-year-old, who was accused of killing a couple in August and trying to eat one of the victim’s faces, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

The Florida State University student also faces one count of attempted murder, resisting arrest, and burglary.

Harrouff has been hospitalized since August 14, the day he allegedly attacked Michelle Mischon and her husband John Stevens in the garage of their home, and his physical condition has only worsened since then.

After the frat boy’s arrest, investigators theorized he ingested some chemicals in the garage that caused his esophagus, his liver to malfunction, and his lungs to fill with fluid.

Authorities also suspect Harrouff may have used the synthetic drug flakka — which would account for his bizarre behavior and “superhuman” strength during the attack — though blood tests sent to the FBI have not yet been released.

Harrouff reportedly remains to weak to provide a statement, through police confirmed he was was being transferred from a hospital to Martin County Jail where he will be held without bond.

Hopefully, we’ll get more details soon to finally explain what happened in this brutal murder.
