Breaking his silence. Jonathan Cheban addressed his BFF Kim Kardashian’s recent Paris robbery, saying that the reality TV superstar, 35, is rattled after the scary episode.
As the 42-year-old PR consultant was entering Kardashian’s New York City apartment on Tuesday, October 4, he was asked how his pal is holding up after she was robbed at gunpoint. In a video obtained by The Daily Mail, Cheban somberly stated, “Not so good.”
As previously reported, the Selfish author was held at gunpoint, tied up and locked in the bathroom of her private Paris residence while a group of men pretending to be police officers robbed her around 2:25 a.m. on Monday morning. The attackers took millions of dollars’ worth of jewelry and two iPhones. The stolen pieces include a diamond ring worth an estimated $4.5 million.
After the five assailants left Kardashian’s Parisian pad via bicycles, the E! personality filed a police report with French officials and then fled to the Big Apple to reunite with her family.
Kardashian’s rep told Us Weekly that the mom of two — she shares daughter North, 3, and son Saint, 10 months, with husband Kanye West — is “badly shaken, but physically unharmed.”

A source previously told Us that Kardashian is not placing any blame on her longtime bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, for not being there when she was violently attacked.
“Pascal was with Kourtney and Kendall at L’Arc Nightclub. Kim felt safe at the apartment by herself,” the insider told Us of where Duvier was during the robbery. “Kim is not blaming Pascal. She felt completely safe at the Paris apartment and doesn’t believe this is his fault in any way.”
