The resort welcomed Tony … read more

On Sunday he was dicing with danger, suspended from an Airbus A400M at 5,000ft. The very next day, Tom Cruise was filming the action side of the Mission Impossible 5 scene as he fought his way across the four-engine military aircraft at RAF Wittering, Cambridgeshire. Thankfully for daredevil Tom, the plane wasn’t airborne but the 52-year-old looked like he was battling the same conditions as he filmed a sequence made to look like he was at high altitude. Chris Rock may portray a washed-up comedian in his latest movie “Top Five,” but he didn’t even need a mic stand to be comfortable in the stand-up saddle last night. Rock took the “Saturday Night Live” stage (November 1) for the second time, having done the hosting duties back in 1996 in addition to being a castmember from 1990-1993 (along with fellow “SNL” bad boys Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Farley and Rob Schneider). Here are all the OMG-worthy moments from the “American Horror Story: Freak Show” … read more

Here we are now, entertain us … with trivia. NIrvana’s “Nevermind” was released on Sept. 24, 1991. The band’s original record contract with Sub Pop only paid them $600, but this album would go on to sell 30 million copies worldwide. Perhaps they weren’t always understood at the time — MTV even misspelled the group’s Moon Man award in 1992 as “Smells Like Team Spirit” — but over the years Nirvana has certainly captured the zeitgeist for anyone who wishes to come as they are, no matter what team … read more

Forget the new Batman movie. Ben Affleck could literally be Dustin Hoffman’s character in a Rain Man reboot. (Well, if they do decide to remake the film classic, that is.) Speaking with Details magazine, the actor admits that — gasp! — the tabloids are right and he has been caught counting cards at various casinos in his lifetime.  “That is a true story,” he says of the reports. “I mean, that took place. I took some time to learn the game and became a decent blackjack player. And once I became … read more
