After spending almost a decade behind bars, Making a Murderer’s Brendan Dassey will finally be free.
A judge ruled that the 27-year-old, whose trial was at the center of the Netflix docu-series, will be released from prison no later than Friday afternoon, rejecting the state of Wisconsin’s previous motion to leave Dassey in jail while the appeal of his release order was pending.
