The X-Men: Apocalypse actress eats one food every day to stay flexible and ward off wrinkles!
Olivia Munn recently chatted with The Cut about her rigorous workout routine, as well as her diet, and she revealed a few surprises. First off, the gorgeous starlet makes her own almond milk.
“My trainer for X-Men taught me about how to make almond milk,” she said. “I never liked milk before, but when I made it, it was so delicious — I could really taste the difference. Once I saw the effects … read more

Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique is definitely part of it. Following Captain America: Civil War, which kick-started the summer movies, we now have comic-book movie No. 2 for summer 2016, X-Men: Apocalypse, directed by X-Men specialist Bryan Singer.
While it may not be quite as excellent as Civil War (and, to be honest, any of the other comic-book movies have some big shoes to fill moving forward; Civil War is nearly perfect), Apocalypse is a whole heck of a lot of mutant fun, a worthy addition to … read more

Olivia Munn recently made headlines when she unintentionally lost 12 pounds preparing for her role as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse.
She explained to E! News a couple of weeks ago, “If I wanted the fans to see Psylocke and get a good fight scene for her and the fans, I knew I had to go do it myself. So I started training every day with Taekwondo and sword and the stunt and wire work, and I just ended up losing 12 pounds from working out every day.”
Now Munn, who has a black belt in Karate, … read more

She does hate that blue body paint, so, um… Jennifer Lawrence still hasn’t made up her mind if she’s going to sign on to play her alter X-Men ego Mystique in future movies, and she said “Fox should be terrified.”
Lawrence’s three-picture deal with 20th Century Fox ends with the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse – along with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult – and she talked with Entertainment Weekly about her future in the franchise.
“Fassbender and McAvoy and I were … read more

She’s got a figure to die for, and a wardrobe to cause envy among most women.
So it’s perhaps not surprising that Olivia Munn showed off her fantastic figure when she stepped out in central London on Monday.
The brunette beauty, 35, was a VIP guest at the X-Men: Apocalypse screening in the capital’s Leicester Square, where she certainly commanded attention. Dressing for the warmer weather, the Oklahoma-born star - who appears in this, her first X-Men film as the dual character Elizabeth Braddock/Psylocke … read more

When you’re ready to party after a big film premiere, who can be bothered to change from one piece of couture into another?
After dazzling on the red carpet at the London screening of X-Men: Apocalypse, Sophie Turner simply substituted her intricate Balmain skirt for a comfortable pair of jeans as she attended the after-party.
While many of her co-stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, had gone for a full clothes change, the redhead didn’t want to waste precious partying moments and made an easier … read more

Her Game of Thrones alter-ego takes no prisoners.
And, clearly, actress Sophie Turner took a similar approach to film fans when she stepped out in daring style on Monday evening.
The flame-haired beauty, 20, was a VIP guest at the X-Men: Apocalypse screening in the capital’s Leicester Square, where she certainly commanded attention.  Clearly dressed to impress, the British-born star wore a dramatic dress which was emboldened by cheeky sheer panels.
Featuring a corset-inspired upper design, the … read more

Olivia Munn had to get into fighting shape—literally—for X-Men: Apocalypse, but just because filming has wrapped doesn’t mean she has dropped her intense workouts.
While she might not be training quite as aggressively as before, she hasn’t quit her sword training despite realistically not needing to wield one anytime soon. But Munn seemed to enjoy her sword training while preparing for her role as Psylocke, so she’s become dedicated to the sport.
“I still do taekwondo and I have a sword closet … read more

For those unfamiliar with Apocalypse’s role in Marvel history, allow Singer to fill you in.” We’ve always treated this theme of mutants vs. humans, and Apocalypse has two aspects that make him such a different character than I’ve traditionally explored in the universe,” he tells Slash Film. “One is that he makes no distinctions between humans and mutants. He’s interested in the Earth as a whole and the purity of civilization and the strongest [beings]. And secondly it deals with ancient mutantism, … read more

Turner and Sheridan replace Famke Janssen and James Marsden, who originated the roles of Jean Grey and Cyclops in 2000’s X-Men. Janssen and Marsden returned in 2003’s X2, 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand and 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. The fifth film in the series raked in $750 million worldwide, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing installment to date, so the pressure was on to deliver with X-Men: Apocalypse. “The problem with Days of Future Past is it’s hard to sequelize,” writer-producer … read more

Last week, French actress Lea Seydoux was offered the lead in the upcoming X-Men spinoff Gambit, which will have Channing Tatum playing the title character, the most famous Cajun in superhero comics history. The female lead was reportedly being eyed by several actresses before it was announced that Seydoux had been offered the part of Bella Donna Boudreaux. And that announcement probably left a few casual X-Men fans asking, “Who?” You see, we’re now deep enough into the age of superhero movies that … read more
