Lena Dunham has apologized for a comment she made on her podcast Women of the Hour, in which she said that she wished she’d had an abortion.
Was the joke distasteful? Yes.
But Dunham’s heartfelt explanation more than makes up for it.
“My latest podcast episode was meant to tell a multifaceted story about reproductive choice in America, to explain the many reasons women do or don’t choose to have children and what bodily autonomy really means. I’m so proud of the medley of voices in the episode. … read more

Michelle has a supporting role in Manchester by the Sea, and many believe she’s one of the leading contenders for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination, alongside Naomie Harris (for Moonlight) and Viola Davis (for Fences). I keep hoping that Viola’s Oscar won’t be snatched away by another actress, and I’m really hoping that Michelle isn’t … read more

Not only was this the British actor’s his big screen debut, but he co-stars in the movie adaptation of August Wilson’s play about a black working class family in 1950s Pittsburgh as Denzel Washington and Viola Davis’ son.

Viola Davis is gearing up for one heck of an award season. The actress stars opposite Denzel Washington in Fences, a performance that’s quickly gaining critical acclaim within Hollywood’s inner circles. So how will the talented star kick back during the holiday season? Viola spoke to E! News’ Zuri Hall about … read more
Nicole Kidman was on Ellen yesterday, which was taped after her Golden Globe nomination, for supporting actress for Lion, and before her SAG nom. It’s doubtful she’ll win, that category is between Viola Davis and Michelle Williams, but she seems excited to be nominated. She might score an Oscar nom too, we’ll see. Nicole’s visit on Ellen was brief and she’s getting the most attention for telling Ellen that she doesn’t exchange Christmas presents with her husband of ten years, Keith Urban. … read more
