This is the week awards season comes into focus.
On Monday, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the Golden Globe nominations, and on Wednesday, the Screen Actors Guild unveiled the shortlist for its annual film and television prizes. Both awards are considered bellwethers for the 2017 Oscar race that began in earnest around Labor Day.

Wednesday morning the SAG Awards announced their nominations!
Actor and rapper Common and actress Sophia Bush took the stage this morning at 10 a.m. EST to announce all the incredible stars honored this year by the Screen Actors Guild.

Well, looks like the Screen Actors Guild remembered these seasons of Orange Is the New Black and House of Cards. Just because T.J. Miller didn’t want to discuss his Friday arrest at the Critics’ Choice Awards doesn’t mean the rest of us aren’t going to discuss it.
According to Deadline, Miller, who is best known for his role in HBO’s Silicon Valley, was in an altercation with a hired driver that led to Miller’s arrest after the driver accused him of battery. He was released and is scheduled to appear in court to address the situation on Jan. 9.
