Often, we become so invested in an actor’s most recognizable role, we forget the many other characters he or she might might have played over the years. For example, most ’90s kids associate Erik von Detten with the DCOM Brink!, but he also starred in the Toy Story franchise as the voice of Andy’s demented neighbor, Sid (not to mention the Leave It to Beaver remake mentioned below).

  1. Jason Earles in National Treasure

    Before he was Jackson Stewart on Hannah Montana, Earles played Thomas Gates in the flashback sequence at the beginning of the film.

  2. Ashley Tisdale in A Bug’s Life

    The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and High School Musical actress voiced Lead Blueberry Scout in the early Pixar film. Furthermore, Tiger Cruise‘s Hayden Panettiere played Dot and Halloweentown star Kimberly J. Brown provided additional voices.

  3. Brenda Song in Leave It to Beaver

    London Tipton from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody had a small role playing Susan, who explained how her grandmother died during summer vacation. Brink! lead Erik von Detten and Can of Worms star Erika Christensen also starred in the film.

  4. Mitchel Musso and Jennifer Stone in Secondhand Lions

    Hannah Montana‘s Musso and Wizards of Waverly Place‘s Stone played the children of greedy parents who were after Michael Caine and Robert Duvall‘s supposed fortune. Their brother was played by Musso’s brother, Marc.

  5. Kim Rhodes in Christmas with the Kranks

    Rhodes played an office worker who got super sassy with Tim Allen, calling him “Mr. Scrooge” because he wanted to skip Christmas and take a cruise instead. Same.

  6. Robert Torti in Race to Witch Mountain

    Rhodes’s TV ex on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody played Dominick in the sci-fi remake. Up, Up, and Away! star Chris Marquette also starred in the film.

  7. Estelle Harris in the Toy Story franchise

    Muriel the maid on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody provided the voice of Mrs. Potato Head in all of the Toy Story films, including the upcoming fourth movie.

  8. Scott Terra in Daredevil

    The youngest brother from the DCOM Motocrossed went on to play Young Matt Murdock in the Marvel superhero film.

  9. Robin Thomas in Pacific Rim

    Kalabar from Halloweentown played L. Taylor, the American U.N. Representative who wanted to shut down the Jaeger Program. More recently, Thomas guest-starred on Fuller House.

  10. Rose Abdoo in The 40-Year-Old Virgin

    Raven’s wacky Spanish teacher on That’s So Raven, Señorita Rodriguez, was also the mom in the Asian restaurant in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Abdoo’s movie husband was Steve Bannos, a.k.a. Mr. Combover on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.

  11. Adam Lamberg in Max Keeble’s Big Move

    Lizzie McGuire‘s Gordo played a jerk who made fun of Alex D. Linz’s character getting thrown in the garbage and having to walk into the school assembly covered in trash.

    The Even Stevens dad is the king of being in practically everything, including The Ugly Truth, where he played the hot air balloon guide who had to awkwardly stand there while Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler made out.

    Virtue’s TV wife on Even Stevens played Annette in the ’70s disco classic. She tried to get with John Travolta’s character and was later viciously gang-raped by two of his friends.

    The Genius star played uncredited Young Jimmy, a.k.a. young Dennis Quaid, in the Texas baseball film.

  17. Selena Gomez in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over

    As we wrote back in March — when the OG Spy Kids turned 15 — the Wizards of Waverly Place star played “Waterpark Girl,” who hired Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara) to find the missing water in her water park. Hannah Montana‘s Emily Osment and Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire‘s Matt O’Leary played brother and sister in the second and third films in the franchise.

  18. Maria Canals-Barrera in The Master of Disguise

    The mom from Wizards of Waverly Place was a snooty chick named Sophia who went on a date with Pistachio Disguisey (Dana Carvey) and then quickly kicked him to the curb. Pistachio liked her for, ahem, one reason in particular. Dylan and Cole Sprouse were also in the film, playing Young Pistachio.
